“$50 cash? Sweet!” screamed a very excited patron of Fast
Eddie’s Bar and Grill. Located in downtown Spokane, Washington at the corner of
Division and Spokane Falls Blvd, Fast Eddie’s makes fun and excitement the
norm.
Dropping in on your birthday is a must! Fast Eddie’s offers
a free spin of their Fortune Wheel providing patrons an opportunity to win big.
With a loud blow of a horn and free spin of the birthday wheel you could win
$50 cash or maybe $100 of in-house credits!
Friday night about 8pm I pulled into a parking spot across from
Fast Eddie’s. My wife Amy and I walked across the busy street and quickly through
their front door. Inside we found pool, foosball, video games and strategically
placed big screens. Fast Eddie’s is the perfect sports bar for a group of
friends or just two. The dining area consists of large tables for six or eight
and smaller tables along their front windows.
At the bar we found a list of drink specials both daily and
weekly. The fun began when our first drinks arrived, a brew for my lady and a martini
for me. A personal favorite of mine is the Apple Martini I almost always order
it first when I try a new place.
Fast Eddie’s offers a nice variety of food choices on their
menu. You can choose from salads, sandwiches, soup, burgers, pizza and a list
of appetizers. Amy ordered their Chicken Bacon Artichoke Swiss Melt and I
choose the Hot N’ Spicy Eddie’s Wings appetizer. The wings were good but the sandwich was
amazing. Thankfully my wife is always willing to share.
Just after 9pm Fast Eddie’s had packed the house. All the
tables were full in addition to their bar. The birthday horn was blowing, guests
were cheering and the fortune wheel was spinning. I decided to be a bit
adventurous and making my way to the bar I asked for a drink that would taste delicious
and kick my butt. Mitch was tending the bar and quickly shook me up a “Spiced
Apple”. Pineapple juice, sour apple, and cinnamon whiskey definitely make for a
tasty drink.
Fast Eddie’s has a wonderful, talented and friendly team of
employees that are sure to make your experience as amazing as ours was. Additionally
you won’t find a cover charge to get in the door and that should make Fast
Eddie’s a must when you’re in downtown Spokane. They also offer a power hour
Monday-Friday from 3pm – 4pm with $1 drafts and $2 microbrew. Happy hour runs
from 4pm-6pm and all day on Sunday. Now you “Know Before You Go!”
